We Finns love to have a nice garden. In the summer, we like to be able to sit outside with a cup of coffee and just watch as the world goes by.
It can be very peaceful to be able to sit surrounded by flowers and nature.
But sometimes, your garden can have problems.
Mould
The first problem you might face is mould. You want to be able to relax in your garden because you get to breathe in the lovely fresh air. You don’t want to have to deal with breathing in dirty things such as mould.
And on top of that, it looks pretty terrible too.
To get rid of the mould, you should buy yourself a good cleaner from Freska. On this website, you can find yourself all sorts of cleaning products for both the home and the garden.
But I’m afraid the only way to get rid of the mould is to use the spray and get scrubbing.
Bird poop
You might find that the birds like your garden. Of course, there’s nothing all wrong with some sparrows or starlings eating the seeds that you put out for them, that can be rather nice, however, the problem arises when you have pigeons who think it’s okay to crap all over your patio.
You want to sit outside and enjoy the sun, not sit in a load of bird droppings.
To get rid of bird poop. You will need some soap and warm water. Or you could use a hose.
Bugs
A garden should have some bugs in it. If you’re getting lots of bees and butterfly’s, that means you have plenty of lovely flowers.
However, when you have aphids, slugs, and snails, that’s when you need to do something about it.
All that time you’ve put into your garden, you don’t want it taken away by a slimy loser.
If you want to get rid of the aphids, you should try to attract ladybirds, who love to gorge on them.
Slugs and snails can be sorted by attracting birds, who will happily take care of them for you.
You can also buy bug killer, but be careful. This kills the nice ones too.
Thorns
We’ve all been in that situation before. You step into your garden, hoping to feel the soft grass on your feet. But as you walk, you suddenly feel a sharp pain rising through your entire body. You’ve stepped on a thorn!
Get rid of thorns, you’ll need to make sure you’re regularly trimming plants such as rose bushes. As any unwelcome thorns, such as brambles, should be taken out by the root.
And when you do this trimming, make sure to dispose of the thorns properly.
